Overview

The Warehouse Group (TWG) is home to three iconic Kiwi brands – The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery and Noel Leeming. Our Distribution Centre is the heart of the business, getting the right products to the right place at the right time. As we head into our busy peak period, we’re expanding our DC whānau to keep our stores thriving.

Role overview

This is a fast-paced role suited to those with a great eye for detail, communication skills that are second to none and the ability to work towards deadlines efficiently. We are looking for reliable, hardworking team players who are happy to get “stuck in” and see a job through from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• We have multiple opportunities available at our North Island Distribution Centre based in Wiri for enthusiastic, hard-working, committed people to join our Fulfilment team to pick and pack our customer’s online orders, with roles including Inbound, HighCube and Outbound.
• Inbound: Receive stock deliveries, inspect for accuracy, and efficiently organize items on the shelves for easy access and inventory management within the team.
• HighCube: Lift and move stock over 25kg with a partner, ensuring safety and proper handling during the processes.
• Outbound: Pick and pack orders, prepare them for shipping, and ensuring accurate and timely dispatched to meet the customer needs.

Term and shifts

This role is part time fixed term from November 2025 - the end of January 2026.

Shift times are 2:00pm - 10:30pm, Tuesday to Saturday OR Sunday to Thursday.

Pay

Pay Rate - $30.28 per hour.

Qualifications

• Key skills and attributes: Problem solving and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use initiative and work independently.
• Distribution/Warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
• Needs to be able to quickly learn on the spot and be available for their shifts.
• Needs to be able to walk 14-15km a day.
• Proficient in operating scanners and pallet jacks.

This physically demanding role requires someone with a good degree of strength, that can keep up with our fast-paced environment.
