The Onboarding Specialist plays a key role in this journey, ensuring that our CowManager systems and drafting gates are installed, set up, and supported seamlessly.

In this role, you will oversee system and gate installations, coordinate with suppliers and the sales team, provide first-line support for technical issues, and train farmers so they feel confident using their new equipment. With your problem-solving mindset and practical skills, you’ll help our customers get the most out of their CowManager solutions.

What You Will Do

You will:

  • Lead and support the installation of CowManager systems on-farm.

  • Coordinate and facilitate drafting gate installations, working closely with suppliers and team members.

  • Provide first-line technical support for drafting gates, troubleshooting and resolving issues.

  • Train farmers and farm staff on the correct and efficient use of drafting gates and CowManager systems.

  • Act as a trusted advisor for customers during their onboarding journey.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Sales, Support, and international teams.

  • Identify and escalate recurring technical issues, while contributing ideas to improve processes.

  • Ensure a smooth transition from installation to ongoing customer success.

  • Stay adaptable in a fast-paced environment, stepping in to support colleagues when needed.

  • Capable of working with both hardware and software, from installation to troubleshooting.

  • Experience with agricultural technology, machinery, or system installations (preferred).

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to guide and train customers confidently.

  • Customer-focused, proactive, and able to adapt to changing priorities.

  • Comfortable with technology and eager to learn new systems.

  • Full driver’s licence and willingness to travel across New Zealand for installations.
