Job summary

New Zealand Post is looking for a Processing Officer on call for our Mowbray Street Christchurch branch. You will sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight to keep deliveries on track.

On-call coverage helps us handle sickness, leave and peak freight periods, with a rewarding work/life balance. The role requires availability 2am–10am, the ability to lift up to 25kg, strong attention to detail and local geography knowledge.

Qualifications

• Be available to work on-call between 2am and 10am.
• Able to lift up to 25kg.
• Good geographical knowledge of Christchurch area.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels and freight at Mowbray Street branch.
• Support peak freight periods and cover staff sickness or leave as required.
