Job summary

New Zealand Post is seeking a casual Delivery Agent in Hamilton/Waikato. The role is on-call with shifts Mon–Sat, 7:00am–4:25pm, delivering mail and parcels using a motorcycle or Paxster. You will sort mail at the Waikato Operations Centre and then work solo on the delivery route, representing NZ Post in the community.

The ideal candidate is available on-call, physically fit, numerate and literate, and customer-focused. A motorcycle licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Available to work on call Mon–Sat between 7:00am and 4:25pm.
• Desirable to hold a valid motorcycle licence.
• Physically demanding role requiring good numeracy and literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mail and parcels on your delivery route.
• Process and sort mail at the Waikato Operations Centre before delivering.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and safety on the road.
