Job summary

NZ Post in Taupo is seeking a Delivery Agent for on-call work, delivering mail and parcels on a route using an E-Bike or Motorcycle. Shift hours run across Monday to Saturday 06:30–15:55, with duties including sorting at the Taupo depot and completing deliveries in the community.

Ideal candidates will be reliable, physically fit, and hold a minimum Clean Learner motorcycle licence, with numeracy and literacy to handle addressing information.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on call, as and when required (Mon–Sat 06:30–15:55).
• Reliable transport to get to work on time.
• Minimum Clean Learners Motorcycle Licence.
• Physically fit and comfortable riding an E-Bike or Motorcycle.
• Numeracy and literacy to process addresses and numbers accurately.
• Commitment to health and safety and caring for colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mail and parcels on the Taupo route as part of NZ Post.
• Sort and process mail at Taupo depot before delivery rounds.
• Work with the team during busy periods or when covering leave.
• Use an E-Bike or Motorcycle to complete daily deliveries.

As the face of NZ Post out in the community, you'll connect with our customers as you deliver their mail and parcels.Working alongside a dedicated team, you'll process and sort mail fromour Taupo depot, before going it alone out on your delivery route, using a E-Bike or Motorcycle;rain,hailor shine! This role will cover employee's sick, annual leave and busy periods.
