Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Waitaha Canterbury seeks a New Zealand registered Physiotherapist for the Older Persons Health and Rehabilitation team at Burwood Hospital in Christchurch. This full-time role (40 hours per week) is a fixed-term parental cover until February 2028, with registration in NZ Physiotherapy Board and APC required.

Qualifications

• Must be a New Zealand registered Physiotherapist with inpatient experience.
• Current practising certificate (APC) required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out effective patient assessment, evaluation and treatments in line with practice standards.
• Formulate treatment interventions to meet individual needs in collaboration with the MDT.
• Ensure effective communication with the physiotherapy team and wider MDT.
