Job summary

Canterbury District Health Board is seeking a New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist to join the Older Persons Health & Rehabilitation team at Burwood Campus. Part-time roles are available: 0.8FTE permanent or 0.6FTE fixed-term parental cover until May 2027.

You will collaborate with MSK, Neurology and Orthopaedics teams, delivering goal-based therapy. Essential that you hold a current Annual Practising Certificate and a full NZ driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• NZ Registered Physiotherapist with current Annual Practising Certificate.
• Willingness to work across rehabilitation areas in a MDT setting.
• Flexible and adaptable with a collaborative approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Carry out effective patient assessments, evaluations and treatments per policies and standards.
• Develop and implement goal-based treatment plans with the MDT.
• Maintain clear communication with the physiotherapy team and wider MDT.
