About the role

Council is seeking their next, casual After School Students. Your organisational skills and flexible approach will ensure the smooth integration into the team. You would assist with looking after MDC’s recycling, consumables, building, fleet and printing.

Responsibilities
  • Processing the recycling
  • Ensuring consumables are restocked
  • Support daily operations of the office
  • Perform messenger duties and assist with projects as required

About you

This position requires the applicant to be at least year 10 in 2026. This role requires someone with:

  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and multitask in a diplomatic environment.
  • Ability to handle a busy workload and multitask when required
  • Flexibility to perform more hours when required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

You will need to be physically fit as heavy lifting is required and it would be helpful if you have experience in working with Microsoft Office. If you are able to multi-task and are a natural team player, have a positive outlook and a sense of humour, and are able to provide the quality support that we seek then we are keen to hear from you.
