About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and organised Office Administrator to join the close-knit team at Dew and Co - a boutique law firm based in Blenheim, Marlborough. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth running of the busy office.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing all general office management and general duties, including ordering supplies, managing filing systems and invoicing administration
  • Acting as the first point of contact for clients, answering incoming phone calls, greeting visitors, and responding to enquiries in a friendly and professional manner
  • Assisting with the preparation of documents, reports, and correspondence as needed
  • Assisting with AML and CFTA compliance administration
  • Ensuring the office environment is well-organised and maintained to a high standard
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as an Office Administrator or in a similar administrative role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to interact with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to quickly learn new software and systems
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
