Qualifications

• Must be registered with the OT Board of New Zealand and hold a current APC.
• Hold a current full and clean driver's license with reliable transport.
• Knowledge and experience in the Disability sector is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and whanau.

Responsibilities

• Work in the community with individuals aged 15 and over with disabilities.
• Identify needs and train clients for independence.
• Prescribe equipment such as wheelchairs.
• Conduct housing modification assessments.
• Provide education, advocacy, and 24-hour posture management.
• Promote equitable health outcomes.

Skills
