Are you passionate about empowering young people with diverse needs to achieve real-life success? Rosehill School in South Auckland is seeking a solution-focused occupational therapist to join our dedicated therapy team.

About us

Rosehill is a multicultural specialist school for students aged 5–21. We celebrate diversity, with 40% Māori learners and 50% diagnosed with Autism. Our school includes:

  • A base school with 10 classes
  • 14 satellite units in mainstream schools
  • A transition unit for ages 18–21 focused on life skills and independence

Travel between sites is part of the role, and a petrol allowance is provided.

Our therapy team

Join a collaborative team of OTs, physios, SLTs, and psychologists. Together, we support students to actively engage in learning and life.

Your role

This varied role includes a set caseload. You’ll work with class teams, therapists, and whānau to set priorities, run programmes, and track progress. You’ll also contribute to school-wide initiatives aligned with our strategic goals. Innovation is welcomed.

Who we’re looking for

You’re passionate about paediatrics and special needs, with strong clinical reasoning, teamwork, and a flexible, positive attitude. Experience with sensory modulation, fine motor skills, and postural management is a plus.

Remuneration: Based on the Ministry of Education’s Kaiārahi i te Reo and Therapists\' Collective Agreement.
