Job summary

LifeCare Consultants Ltd. invites health professionals to join as an Occupational Health Technician, delivering first aid training and health screening across the lower North Island.

The role is based in Palmerston North with travel to client sites and flexible hours, starting with health screening services and expanding into training. You will work a guaranteed minimum 64 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE) with time and a half after 80 hours.

Qualifications

• Health-related degree required.
• NZ citizen or right to work in NZ.
• Willingness to travel to sites across the region.
• Ability to work 0.8 FTE with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational health screening services (pre-employment, annual checks, drug and alcohol testing).
• Deliver first aid training courses in group settings.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal processes.
• Data entry and using tech systems to record results.
• Travel across the region to worksites, occasional overnight.
