Job summary

LifeCare is seeking an Occupational Health Technician to deliver first aid training and health screening across the lower North Island from our Palmerston North base. The role is 0.8 FTE with autonomous yet supported responsibilities and paid training.

You will travel to client sites, perform data entry, and support health education delivery while working a flexible schedule and maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• You must have a health-related degree (e.g., Health Science, Paramedicine, Sports Science).
• Data entry accuracy and comfort with tech are required.
• Ability to travel regionally to client sites and nights away as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational health screening services (pre-employment, annual checks, drug and alcohol testing).
• Deliver first aid training courses in group settings.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal processes.
• Travel to worksites across the region, sometimes overnight.
