Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley is seeking NZREX doctors for house surgeon roles across the Wellington Region, including Wellington, Kapiti Coast, Otaki, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa. Starts 11 January 2027 for orientation.

Roles are full-time with rotation across hospitals and community attachments. Eligibility includes NZREX within 5 years or PLAB/AMC equivalents, minimum 12 months post-qualification experience, valid NZ work visa, and NZ residency with a valid

Qualifications

• Must have passed the NZREX exam in the last 5-years; or Part1 & Part 2 of the PLAB test or AMC Part 1 & Part 2.
• Must have worked as a doctor for a minimum of 12 months in your home country.
• Must have a visa to work in New Zealand.
• Must be CURRENTLY residing in New Zealand; must have a driver’s license and willingness to drive in New Zealand.
