Job summary

AECOM is seeking an exceptional leader to grow and lead the Aviation business across New Zealand. You will build strong client relationships, shape strategy, and drive national collaboration among airport operators, government agencies, and industry partners.

You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, balance growth with delivery, and champion technical excellence while leveraging AECOM's global aviation network for impact.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading aviation or large infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record in winning work and growing a business.
• Strong leadership with coaching and development focus.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering outcomes.
• Commercialsavvy with growth vs delivery balance.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and clients.

Responsibilities

• Own the growth and leadership of NZ Aviation business.
• Build trusted relationships with airport operators, aviation stakeholders, government agencies and partners.
• Lead strategic pursuits, bids, and business development activities.
• Provide leadership across delivery, resourcing, and commercial performance.
• Create a vision for the future of Aviation within AECOM and align teams.
• Mentor a nationally integrated team and develop future leaders.
• Champion technical excellence and connect clients with global expertise.
• Identify market opportunities to strengthen the aviation position.
• Represent AECOM in the NZ aviation market and industry.
