A pet food retail company in Otago is seeking a part-time team member for their new Wairakei Road store. The ideal candidate will have retail experience and a passion for natural animal health. Responsibilities include providing customer service, managing shop operations, and assisting with deliveries. Full training in raw feeding will be provided. Flexible working hours include Fridays and Saturdays.

We're recognised as the raw feeding experts, operating from 17 stores across New Zealand, and offering personalised advice and a wide range of locally sourced and 100% natural products.
We're looking for a passionate person who lives our values of being friendly, curious, responsive, knowledgeable and essential to nourish our new Warakei Road store.
You and your team will provide advice and education for pet owners to help their dogs and cats eat their way to better health through a consistent level of outstanding service.
We currently have a permanent part-time role available for the Wairakei Road store, working 2 days (Friday and Saturday, approx. 14 hours). The opportunity is also there to cover up at our existing Tower Junction store when needed, so extra flexibility would be an advantage.
In addition to customer service and keeping the shop looking amazing, you'll provide advice and education for pet owners to help their dogs and cats eat their way to better health with a species-appropriate, 'raw meaty bones' diet. Full training in all aspects of raw feeding for cats and dogs will be provided.
We sell frozen pet food, and our stores get regular frozen deliveries, so you'll need to be strong, active and willing to get 'stuck in' to unpack deliveries and keep the freezers fully stocked throughout the day.
