Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Nursing Informatics Specialist (AI Training) to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on healthcare content. Your nursing expertise will shape how AI understands EHR workflows, clinical documentation, and patient care processes.

This remote, hourly-contract role evaluates AI outputs for accuracy and safety, identifies gaps, and provides actionable feedback to AI training teams. You’ll work independently on a flexible schedule to contribute to healthcare outcomes

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or equivalent clinical background.
• Hands‑on experience with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner or similar).
• Familiar with clinical documentation workflows and nursing informatics concepts.
• Strong analytical skills to spot missing, misleading, or incorrect clinical info.
• Clear written communicator who explains clinical reasoning plainly.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently on tasks.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Evaluate AI-generated clinical content for accuracy, safety, and alignment with real-world nursing workflows

• Identify gaps, errors, or unsafe outputs in AI responses related to healthcare informatics

Who You Are

• Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background
• Hands‑on experience with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms
• Familiar with clinical documentation workflows and nursing informatics concepts
• Strong analytical skills — you can spot when clinical information is missing, misleading, or incorrect
• Clear written communicator who can explain clinical reasoning in plain language
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently on task‑based assignments

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in clinical informatics, health IT, or a formal informatics role
• Background in data annotation, data quality, or AI evaluation workflows
• Experience with quality improvement, clinical auditing, or outcome analysis
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, SNOMED, etc.)
