Job summary

Frontline Recruitment is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established community-centred primary care service in Auckland. You will practise with a high degree of clinical autonomy within your scope, supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team within an integrated model of care.

The clinic operates five days a week from 8:00am to 6:00pm with flexible rostering; weekend work may be rostered and paid at a higher rate.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ)
• Current APC with prescribing rights
• Ideally 2+ years experience as a Nurse Practitioner
• Primary care experience is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, culturally responsive primary care within NP scope
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute presentations
• Prescribe medications, order/interprete investigations, coordinate referrals
• Provide patient education to support health literacy and self-management
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team addressing health determinants
• Contribute to developing an innovative community-led model of care
