Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora Auckland is seeking an experienced senior nurse to promote quality improvement and patient safety. You will facilitate clinical education for nursing staff at the Awhi Mātua Fraser McDonald Unit, reporting to the Nurse Director and collaborating with the AM FMU leadership.

Ideal candidates will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with Level 4 PDRP and at least five years of clinical practice, pursuing or having completed a relevant Postgraduate Diploma in Mental

Qualifications

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with Level 4 PDRP and five+ years of clinical practice.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or teaching study is preferred.
  • Full New Zealand Driver's Licence is essential.

  • Promote quality improvement and patient safety within the unit.
  • Facilitate and provide clinical education to nursing staff in the AM FMU.
  • Partner with Nurse Director and Unit Manager to strengthen nursing workforce development.
