Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in New Plymouth is seeking a nuclear medicine technologist to join a supportive radiology department. You will perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures alongside two experienced technologists, delivering high-quality clinical outcomes.

The role requires NZ registration, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 0.6 FTE with a focus on patient-centred care in a vibrant hospital setting.

Qualifications

• NZ registration and current annual practising certificate.
• Excellent communication and high standard of patient care.
• Ability to work independently and within a small team.
• Versatile and adaptable to a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with two other radiology technologists to perform nuclear medicine procedures.
• Perform sentinel node, bone scan, gated heart, thyroid, gastric emptying, renal studies and perfusion scans.
• Provide patient-centered care with strong communication and teamwork.
