We are currently looking for a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to join our friendly and supportive radiology department at Taranaki Base Hospital. Our nuclear medicine department is seeking a qualified nuclear medicine technologist you will be working alongside two other highly experienced medical imaging technologist; our team performs multiple procedures including sentinel nodes, bone scans, gated hearts, thyroids, gastric emptying, renal studies and chemical stress perfusion scans.
We are looking for a nuclear medicine technologist with excellent communication skills, a high standard of patient care, enthusiasm and the ability to work efficiently. WE currently have a Siemens Pro SPECTA.
We have a friendly welcoming team, and can offer a great work life balance, enabling you to head to the beach after work.
In addition, we have recently moved into our new department, our facilities in New Plymouth include advanced imaging technologies such as general x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional radiography, fluoroscopy and more. With satellite sites in Hawera, Stratford, and Waitara, you will have the chance to work alongside a team of around 60 staff members, supported by experienced Radiologists.
