Job summary

Bidfood Waipapa is seeking motivated individuals for a permanent night shift Warehouse Team in New Zealand. You’ll join NZ’s leading foodservice distributor and gain long-term career prospects with a company that invests in its people.

The role focuses on picking/packing orders, moving stock, and lifting up to 25 kg, with full training provided. Weekend and Public Holiday work is expected, with shift times around 7:00pm–3:30am.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Physically fit with ability to lift up to 25 kg.
• Reliable transport to and from work.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders across the Dry Goods Warehouse.
• Move stock around the warehouse as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Be part of a fast-paced team and contribute to timely deliveries.

What You'll Be Doing?

You'll be helping prepare customer orders across our:

• Dry Goods Warehouse

This is a hands-on role involving:

• Picking and packing orders
• Moving stock
• Regular heavy lifting (up to 25kg)
• Working as part of a fast-paced team
• Being on your feet for most of the shift
• Don't worry if you haven't worked in a warehouse before - we'll provide full training.

The Hours

This is a permanent night shift position.

Current shift times are approximately: 7:00pm - 3:30am

Rostered across 6 days per week, with start and finish times varying based on seasonal and operational requirements.

Please note that weekend and Public Holiday work is expected.
