Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking a Night Shift Team Leader to run a small, high-performing outbound team in a busy 3PL warehouse, overseeing night-time order processing and cycle counts.

You will lead 3–4 staff, operate forklifts, and coordinate with the Day Shift; a full driver's license and forklift experience are essential, with MOJ checks and drug tests as required. On-site parking and a genuine path to permanency are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team within warehousing/logistics (3PL preferred).
• Forklift experience across Counterbalance, Reach, Stock Picker/Man Up.
• Full driver’s license.
• Comfort writing internal emails and using Excel/Word/Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a Night Shift outbound team, delegating and following up on daily tasks.
• Own outbound order processing and cycle counts.
• Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable.

We're looking for a Night Shift Team Leader to run a small, high-performing outbound team (3, growing to 4 at peak) in a busy 3PL warehouse — someone who can step in, set the tone, and keep the crew performing through the night, handling 100% outbound work (order processing and cycle counts).

What We're Looking For

• Experience leading a small team, ideally within 3PL or warehousing/logistics
• Must have forklift experience across Counterbalance, Reach and Stock Picker/Man Up (expired licences okay if willing to refresh)
• A leader who's firm but fair
• Full driver's licence
• Comfortable with writing internal emails as well as using Excel, Word and Outlook (preferred, not essential)
