Qualifications

• No prior galvanising experience required as training is provided.
• Desirable forklift licence, crane operation, or health and safety training.
• Reliable, safety-focused approach and good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare steel in the black end and segregate contaminated items.
• Maintain acid baths for effective pickling.
• Dip steel into the molten zinc kettle and finish on the white end.
• Inspect, fettling to remove excess zinc, pack and stack job lots safely.
