Job summary

Winstone Aggregates in Auckland is hiring Class 5 Drivers for a night shift, serving customers across the Auckland region and helping keep the city moving while it sleeps.

You will drive truck and trailer units, perform basic manoeuvres, ensure quality by keeping bins clean, plan routes between sites, and deliver reliable customer service.

We offer guaranteed 50 hours per week, top pay rates with extra hours, full training, career development, a safe working environment, and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Class 5 driving licence required or essential
• Customer service skills to liaise with customers
• Reliable and good communication is essential
• Ability to plan travel between sites and maintain routes
• Jackknifing, reversing and tipping skills are advantageous

Responsibilities

• Drive a truck and trailer unit carting bulk aggregates to customers in top quality trucks
• Jackknifing, reversing and tipping skills advantageous
• Provide excellent customer service when liaising with customers
• Quality control of delivered product – bin cleanliness is a must
• Efficiently plan travel between sites
• Reliability and communication are essential
