Job summary

PAK’nSAVE Rangiora in Canterbury, New Zealand is seeking a Night Fill Supervisor to lead the Dry Goods team overnight. You’ll be hands-on, ensure shelves are stocked and presented to a high standard, and keep daily operations running smoothly.

The role requires supermarket experience, leadership, reliability, and the ability to work late hours. You’ll train and motivate staff, manage priorities, and contribute to a positive team culture in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supermarket or relevant retail experience
• Reliable, punctual, and great at managing time and priorities
• Physically fit and able to handle repetitive lifting
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead by example
• A team player who can build relationships and get the best out of others
• Able to travel safely to and from work at late hours
• Leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and motivate the Night Fill team to achieve daily targets
• Ensure shelves are well-stocked and presented to a high standard
• Coordinate workload and delegate tasks across the team
• Work hands-on in a physically demanding role (lifting up to 20kg)
• Take ownership of the department overnight and maintain excellent presentation
• Support a positive, productive, and customer-focused team culture
