Job summary

New World Green Bay is hiring a Produce Assistant for the busy, friendly Produce Department in Auckland. This part-time role focuses on keeping stock fresh, presenting produce attractively, and delivering great customer service.

You will replenish stock, assist customers, and maintain Health & Safety and Food Safety standards while working in a fast-paced environment with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to be on your feet all day.
• Comfortable lifting heavy crates (15kg+).
• Fast and efficient in a busy environment.
• Customer service focused with a friendly attitude.
• Reliable and dependable, with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work well under pressure and cope with seasonal demands.
• Applicants must be NZ Citizens/Residents or hold a current NZ Work Visa with no restrictions and be physically in New Zealand at the time of applying.

We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic team member to join our awesome Produce Department!

You’ll be joining a hardworking, supportive team that loves what they do and works together to keep our department looking fresh, full, and inviting for our customers.

Your Main Duties Will Include:

• Replenishing fresh produce stock
• Lifting and moving produce crates (some can be heavy)
• Helping customers with friendly service
• Maintaining Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times
• Keeping the department clean, tidy, and well-presented
• Monday: 17.00-22.00
• Tuesday: 12.00-22.00
• Sunday: 15.00-22.00
