You will join the Puawai Aroha Maternity Unit, access a tailored onboarding programme led by a Clinical Coach and Midwifery Educator, and work within a skilled team to deliver safe, compassionate care for families and whanau.

Qualifications

• Completed midwifery education in New Zealand in 2026.
• NZ citizenship or permanent residency required.
• Eligible to enrol in Midwifery First Year of Practice program.

Responsibilities

• Join a supportive and experienced maternity team.
• Undergo comprehensive onboarding and orientation led by Clinical Coach and Midwifery Educator.
• Contribute to safe, high-quality care for birthing people and families in Gisborne.
