Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora's Puawai Aroha Maternity Unit in Tairāwhiti (Gisborne) invites final-year/just graduated midwives to join our team for their first year of practice. You will benefit from a comprehensive onboarding and a tailored orientation led by our Clinical Coach and Midwifery Educator, with strong support as you begin your career.

Qualifications

Must have completed midwifery education in New Zealand in 2026.
Be a New Zealand Citizen or permanent resident.
Be eligible to enrol in the Midwifery First Year of Practice program.

Responsibilities

Join a supportive maternity team in Gisborne region.
Participate in onboarding and tailored orientation led by our Clinical Coach and Midwifery Educator.
