English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The arts

We are seeking a caring and engaging new entrant class teacher who is collaborative, has a growth mindset, is committed to inclusive education and is passionate about child-centred learning.

As an experienced teacher, you will demonstrate these key skills:

  • Has the ability to build warm and caring relationships with students, whānau and staff
  • Has excellent pedagogical knowledge and is culturally responsive; ensuring the well-being and progress of our diverse community of learners
  • Thrives in a collaborative, creative and fun environment which encourages creativity
  • Is flexible, contributes to the team and has a shared passion for empowering young learners.
  • The ability to enhance and grow the Catholic special character of the school
  • Has proven and recent experience in this area of primary school learning

A willingness and ability to take participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment.
