Job summary

Stonefields School in Auckland is seeking a new entrant teacher for a fixed term position, starting Term 4 (12 October 2026) to cover Years 1–8. The role emphasizes collaboration, learner-centered practice, and building strong relationships with students, families and staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current teaching certificate (NZ registered) with entitlement to teach in NZ.
• Experience leading and collaborating within a school community is desirable.
• Ability to form strong relationships with learners, staff, whānau, and the wider community.

Responsibilities

• Teach primary to intermediate levels (Years 1–8).
• Collaborate with colleagues to design learning and assessment.
• Engage with whānau to support learner growth and wellbeing.
• Contribute to a culture of inquiry and continuous improvement.
