Neurosurgery MDM & Data Coordinator at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Toka Tumai Auckland, Auckland
  • Permanent, full-time(40 hours /week)
  • Exciting opportunity to advance your career as the first Multidisciplinary Meeting (MDM) Coordinator in the Neurosurgical Service at Te Toka Tumai.
  • The role is based at Te Toka Tumai - Auckland City Hospital

About the Role

As the Neurosurgical MDM Coordinator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of Multidisciplinary Meetings (MDMs), where neurosurgeons, neurologists, radiologists, pathologists, oncologists, nurses, and allied health professionals come together to review complex cases, determine diagnoses, and develop optimal patient management plans.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and prioritising cases for discussion
  • Managing meeting logistics and documentation
  • Ensuring accurate recording of outcomes and action points
  • Maintaining clinical databases to support audit, research, and quality improvement
  • Coordinating Mortality and Morbidity (M&M) meetings, including case selection and attendance

· You'll be part of the Neurosurgical team at Te Toka Tumai Auckland, working alongside passionate and supportive clinicians (nurses, surgeons, junior medical staff, administrators, and allied health professionals) We are a collaborative and committed team focused on delivering high-quality care to patients across the region.

About you

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

· 4+ years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting
