We deliver a safe, reliable and sustainable electricity supply to a population of more than 200,000 residents in Ōtepoti Dunedin, Central Otago/Wānaka and Tāhuna Queenstown. Our purpose is enabling the energy future of our communities.
About the Role

Using advanced SCADA systems, you’ll monitor and control assets, handle network switching, and coordinate responses to faults - all while ensuring safety and reliability.
Training is provided through significant mentoring and hands-on coaching. You won’t be left alone or on shift until you’re confident and competent in the role.
This is a shift-based role where you’ll work 4 on, 4 off, 2 - 12-hour day and 2 12-hour night shifts (7am–7pm or 7pm–7am), and also normal 8-hour working days for a number of weeks post your shift rotation. Rosters are planned 12-months in advance, so you’ll have plenty of time to plan your life and ensure balance.
