Job summary

Extrastaff, aLabourHire Company, is hiring full-time Construction Specialists across all regions of New Zealand. You will work on major infrastructure and commercial projects, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. PPE and tools are provided, and site locations vary by project demand.

Applicants should have 2 years in construction or a Level 4 qualification, a NZ Driver license, and be able to travel across NZ. Positions offer stable permanent employment with nationwide deployments.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Able to work independently and adapt to different sites across NZ.
• Strong focus on health, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Construct, install and repair framework and structures including formwork, framing, cladding and finishing work.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and access equipment for above-ground work.
• Load and unload materials and transport them around sites.
• Travel to rotating project sites across the country as required.
