Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a National Operations Support Coordinator (Fixed-Term) based in Mount Wellington, Auckland. You will provide hands-on support to local and national operations, coordinating fleet actions and inventory systems to drive performance and project success.

You will collaborate with finance and branch teams, support Navision-based processes, and help train a remote team while delivering reliable procurement and stock management across our New Zealand operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory and fleet management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Google Suite.
  • Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate fleet actions for vehicles including disposals, new orders, fit-outs, repairs, registration and servicing.
  • Provide branch system support for inventory and procurement management.
  • Maintain and update Navision and build a remote training team.
  • Coordinate branch communications, stock orders and stock take reports with finance.
  • Assist with reporting and monitoring of purchase orders, transfer orders and stock issuance transactions.
  • Support the smooth operation and implementation of current projects and assist the local branch operations team.

National Operations Support Coordinator | Fixed-Term

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our leading organisation as a National Operations Support Coordinator, based out of our Mount Wellington office. This is an opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual who is looking to grow their career with an international organisation. Ideally, you would have recently graduated or have experience in the business.

The role:

In this role, you will deliver hands‑on, direct support to both Local and National Operations Teams as well as key stakeholders. Your core focus will be managing vehicle fleet coordination, driving the execution and performance of inventory stock systems, and collaborating with operational teams to achieve personal development and project success.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating all required fleet actions regarding vehicles, including disposals, new orders, fit‑outs, repairs, registration and servicing
  • Providing branch system support for all aspects of inventory and procurement management
  • Maintaining and updating Navision and building a remote team to deliver new user training
  • Coordinating branch communications, stock orders and stock take reports with finance
  • Assisting with reporting and monitoring of purchase orders, transfer orders and stock issuance transactions
  • Providing support as required to ensure the smooth operation and implementation of current projects
  • Supporting the local branch operations team as required.

To ensure your success in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory and fleet management is essential
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Administration or other related discipline
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using the Google Suite
  • An ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of stakeholders, including employees, subcontractors, clients and incumbent suppliers
  • Experience working in the service industry is beneficial
