With 15 branches and around 300 employees throughout New Zealand, we are one of the biggest names in lift truck supplies.

The role

Reporting to the GM Corporate Accounts, you will join our knowledgeable and experienced sales team and be supported by great training and shared expertise across the business.

As the National Account Manager, you’d be responsible for developing and managing new National Key Accounts by targeting competitor key accounts to achieve set annual targets in a highly competitive market. In addition, you would be responsible for delivering a high level of customer service to all customers and ensuring that their requirements are met, solid relationships established and maintained, and that Crown’s reputation and values are upheld.

Being a market leader in our field, our products and solutions can be found across many different industries of all sizes and complexities, creating great sales opportunities for our teams. You’ll look for new and diverse market segments in which to grow; and devise astrategic growth plan focusing on national accounts to maximise profitability.There is lots of flexibility in the role and you will work closely with our sales and operations teams around the country.

About you

To shine in this role, you’ll bring your energetic and enthusiastic self to work every day. To really understand and relate to our customers, we’re looking for someone with an Engineering or Technical qualification and an automotive or trade-related background or knowledge. To be successful you will have a proven sales success with abackground in sales development/sales disciplines and be able to demonstrate strategic planning and solid negotiation skills.

A positive ‘can do’ attitude and an engaging and sincere personality are the key qualities we’re searching for. Whilst we’d love you to have proven experience within an Industrial Capital Equipment Sales or Service role, being a team player, an ambitious sales professional and having great customer service/relationship skills is much more important to us. If you have the right attitude, are willing and eager to learn and grow, then we can teach you the rest!
