Tātaki Auckland Unlimited is seeking a casual Museum Assistant to deliver high-quality visitor experiences and keep the Museum welcoming for all at a waterfront location. You will work in a hands-on, multi-tasking role within a supportive team, covering ticketing, retail, events, programmes, and admin.

You'll bring warmth, confidence, and a dedication to outstanding service, thriving with people of all ages in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, tourism, heritage, retail, or hospitality is highly valued.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and evenings.
• Right to work in NZ; visa support not available.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and support ticketing.
• Assist with retail, events, public programmes, and administration.
• Contribute to frontline operations in a busy visitor-facing environment.
