THE OPPORTUNITY:
Our reporters find stories and produce high-quality journalism and content, helping make NZME a leading publisher of digital and print publications and radio programming. We’re looking for an enthusiastic senior-level journalist to join our Gisborne team!
HOW YOU'LL DO IT:
As a key member of our editorial team, you’ll create engaging, timely content that upholds our commitment to quality, accuracy, and trustworthiness. You’ll generate unique, compelling story ideas that capture the audience’s attention and set us apart from the competition.
ABOUT YOU:
You’ll bring a wealth of knowledge, with 3+ years of reporting experience.
You’ll have a relevant journalism qualification and be committed to delivering high-impact, authentic, and relentlessly interesting journalism.
Your attributes will include a dogged pursuit of the truth, and high-quality research and writing skills.
Your journalism will inform and engage audiences locally and nationally thanks to great contact building and a great nose for news.
You’ll also have a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
