Job summary

Fern Wave Media Limited is seeking a creative Multimedia Designer to join our team in Rotorua, NZ. You will develop engaging multimedia content for client projects, including video production, motion graphics, photography, and digital graphics.

You will collaborate with our creative and account management teams to translate client briefs and brand concepts into high-quality visuals, while managing multiple projects to meet deadlines and maintain consistent branding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Multimedia Design or related field.
• Experience in multimedia design, video production, motion graphics, or related creative role.
• Proven ability to create multimedia content for various clients and brands.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise, design and produce multimedia content including videos, graphics and social media assets.
• Film and edit promotional videos, interviews and tutorials.
• Create visuals tailored for websites, social media and mobile apps.
• Interpret client briefs, target audiences and brand requirements.
• Develop storyboards, layouts and production plans.
• Handle camera operation, lighting, sound, editing and color correction.
• Produce motion graphics, animations and branded elements.
• Ensure consistency of visual identity across materials.
• Review work against feedback and project goals.
• Manage multiple client projects and deadlines.
• Organise and maintain media libraries and project files.
