Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group in Hamilton, New Zealand, seeks an MRI technologist to operate state-of-the-art MRI equipment, prepare and screen patients, and produce high-quality diagnostic images. Reporting to a senior technologist, you will ensure image quality and patient safety while following protocols.

Based in Hamilton, you will collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to support patient care and maintain equipment, with a focus on safety, documentation, and a patient-centred

Qualifications

• Registration with the NZ MRT Board is required.
• Full APC (Annual Practising Certificate) is mandatory.
• At least 12 months hands-on MRI experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols.
• Patient care and comfort, ensuring diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain MRI equipment and report any technical issues.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to support patient care.
• Uphold safety standards, including MRI screening and infection control.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately.

Based in Hamilton, you’ll operate new state-of-the-art MRI equipment, preparing and screening patients, producing high-quality diagnostic images and providing exceptional patient care.

Reporting to a senior technologist and working closely with radiologists, you’ll run appropriate imaging sequences, monitor image quality and ensure equipment safety standards and protocols are followed.
