Job summary

Fox Glacier Lodge on New Zealand's West Coast is seeking a friendly Housekeeper & Receptionist to join our small team from the end of March. The role combines housekeeping and front desk duties and offers on-site accommodation.

You will clean rooms, handle check-in/check-out, manage bookings, respond to guest inquiries and provide warm, professional service in a remote location. Candidates should have NZ work rights, hospitality experience preferred, good English, and a practical, independent

Housekeeper & Receptionist – Fox Glacier Lodge

20-40 hours per week | Minimum 20 hours guaranteed 5-6 days per week
On-site accommodation available $50/week

Fox Glacier Lodge is a boutique accommodation property with 11 guest rooms and 23 powered Campervan sites, located in the heart of beautiful Fox Glacier on New Zealand's West Coast.

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Housekeeper & Receptionist to join our small team from the end of Sep.

This is a varied role combining housekeeping and reception duties, and is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, meeting travellers from around the world, and living in a beautiful remote location.

Your duties will include:

• Cleaning and preparing guest rooms and common areas
• Reception, guest check-in and check-out
• Responding to guest enquiries
• Managing bookings and reservations
• General lodge duties and helping with day-to-day operations
• Providing friendly and professional customer service

What we are looking for:

• Valid New Zealand work rights/visa
• Previous housekeeping, hotel, motel or hospitality experience preferred
• Friendly, responsible and able to work independently
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable living and working in a small, remote community
• Practical and hands-on attitude
• Experience with accommodation reservation systems is an advantage
• Hospitality-related education or qualifications are preferred but not essential
