Job summary

TSB is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Wellington mobile app team. This role involves hands-on manual and automated testing, working closely with the digital team to deliver quality mobile banking applications to customers.

You will design and maintain test cases, contribute to design and planning, and collaborate with engineers, analysts, designers, and product owners to meet quality expectations. There is on-call duty as part of the roster.

Qualifications

• Experience testing mobile applications in an agile environment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain test cases, both manual and automated.
• Contribute to application design, requirements, estimation, and planning.
• Work with engineers, analysts, designers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality.
• Help ensure security and performance standards are maintained.
• Share knowledge and improve testing practices across teams.
• Support and educate peers and stakeholders on new functionality.
• Participate in communities of practice and testing tool evolution.
• Roaster on-call support for systems within the team’s responsibilities.
