Job summary

RANGIORA MOBILES LIMITED in Wellington is seeking a Hardware or Telecommunications Technician for the new Karori store. You will repair mobile phones, diagnose hardware and software faults, and install, configure and test hardware.

The role requires a Level 4 qualification or 1–3 years of relevant experience, and you must be willing to work weekends, be on-call, and pass a drug test and any required Ministry of Justice checks.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 4 qualification or 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Willing to pass a drug test and a Ministry of Justice check when required.
• Willingness to work weekends and be on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair mobile phones (hardware and software).
• Determine software/hardware requirements and provide solutions to faults.
• Repair and replace faulty hardware components; test equipment.
• Install, configure, test, troubleshoot and repair hardware.
• Install, maintain and repair telecommunications equipment.
