Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Te Awamutu is seeking a motivated customer-focused team member for our busy Paint Department. This full-time role offers the opportunity to help customers bring their projects to life by delivering expert advice and friendly service in a supportive team environment.

You should enjoy working with people, have strong communication and organisational skills, and be willing to learn product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Evidence of excellent customer service and communication.
• Willing to learn product knowledge and apply it in-store.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment and lift items.
• Previous paint/retail experience is advantageous but training provided.
• Rostered to work Tuesday to Saturday in a full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to customers in the Paint Department.
• Assist customers with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Support store operations and maintain a clean, organized department.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
