At Mitre 10 MEGA Whanganui, we’re all about helping Kiwi love where they live, work, and play. We’re looking for a creative, organised, and community-minded Marketing Coordinator to join our team and help us bring our brand to life—both in-store and out in the community.

What’s the gig?

You’ll be the go-to person for all things marketing—working closely with our store teams, operations crew, and advertising partners to deliver top-notch promotions, events, and campaigns. From sausage sizzles to social media, you’ll help us connect with our customers in ways that are fresh, fun, and totally Mitre 10.

Your mission (should you choose to accept it):
  • Coordinate our local and national marketing calendar like a pro
  • Create buzz-worthy advertising across print, radio, TV, digital and social
  • Own our social media content and keep it looking sharp
  • Plan and execute epic in-store events—from Tough Kids to Easy As Kids Workshops
  • Keep our signage, pricing, and promotional materials on point
  • Work with sponsors and community groups to make magic happen
  • Support the team with ad hoc projects and ideas that help us grow
What you’ll bring to the toolbox:
  • A flair for copywriting and content creation
  • Experience with Canva or similar design tools
  • Marketing know-how (qualification or experience—either works!)
  • Social media savvy and a good eye for detail
  • A customer-obsessed mindset and a team-first attitude
  • Willingness to muck in wherever needed—no job too big or small
