Overview

What you\'ll do

As a Microsoft Inside Sales Representative, your primary focus will be:

  • Achieving revenue targets or sales quotas by engaging with new and existing clients.
  • Understanding client needs and proposing tailored Microsoft solutions to enhance their experience with our products and services.
  • Processing requests for quotes promptly and accurately, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining regular contact with assigned clients to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Help customers and our other Datacom sellers navigate funding types from Microsoft to bring investment for those looking to transform with AI and Cloud.
  • Identifying customer objectives, decision-making processes, and building new and on-going business partnerships.
  • Generating new business leads through cold calling, mailing, and referrals while staying informed about competitor strategies.
  • Participating in sales promotions, campaigns, events, and displays to boost Microsoft brand presence.
Knowledge
  • Sound I.T Hardware and Software knowledge.
  • Knowledge of the NZ I.T Distribution scene.
  • Microsoft knowledge and IT sales experience preferred.
  • Knowledge or experience with close-loop marketing and nurture campaigns to move leads from marketing qualified to sales qualified is preferred.
Skills
  • Ability to engage with clients at all levels and provide comprehensive solutions.
  • Strong sales acumen, including negotiation, persuasion, and exceptional communication skills.
  • Capability to interpret technical concepts and align them with client business objectives.
  • Ability to be collaborative in working with Microsoft sales teams to bring the best of both Datacom and Microsoft to customers.
  • Ability to bring simplicity and clarity to complex programs and Microsoft solutions.
  • Results-driven with focus on attaining targets and achieving desired customer and growth outcomes.
