Job summary

Brand Influence Group (BIG) is seeking a reliable Back-up Merchandiser to handle ad-hoc tasks and provide casual cover at New World Opotiki. This flexible micro-role requires up to 1 hour of work per week, split across two short weekly visits. It’s ideal for someone seeking a small, consistent local gig or supplementary income.

Successful candidates will work on-site in Opotiki with flexible visit days and times, adapting to task coverage as needed. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or supermarket experience is desirable but not required.
• Strong communication, organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Physical and repetitive workload.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining quality relationships in stores.
• Installing Point of Sale.
• Auditing, compliance and quality checks.
• Submit tasks and quality photos daily via smartphone/tablet.
• Represent BIG and our clients positively and professionally.

Brand Influence Group (BIG) is an industry leading experiential and field marketing organisation with a mobile workforce community which is over 2,500 strong across Australia and NZ.

We are seeking a reliable Back-up Merchandiser to handle ad-hoc tasks and provide casual cover at New World Opotiki. This is a flexible, micro-role requiring up to 1 hour of work per week (hours fluctuate), split across two short weekly visits. It is perfect for someone looking for a small, consistent local gig or supplementary income.

About the Role:

Up to 1 hour per week

New World Opotiki

1st visit - Sun OR Mon

2nd visit - Wed OR Thurs

*Flexible to cover other tasks preferred
