Job summary

Farmers Trading Company Ltd. is a leading, NZ-owned retailer with 100+ years in market. As a Merchandise Planner, you will work cross-functionally to ensure stores have optimal stock levels and the right product mix to hit sales, gross profit and stock targets aligned with our strategy.

Your role includes analyzing buying requirements up to 12 months ahead, advising on financial planning and stock management, monitoring sales and profit, and developing merchandise plans and budgets.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of planning experience coupled with relevant qualification.
• A flair for figures and a strong eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate and influence the broader team.
• Strong problem solving and time management skills.
• Previous experience with SAP and Arthur Planning desirable.
• High level Microsoft Excel skills an advantage.

About the role:
