Job summary

Woolworths Group in New Zealand seeks a Merchandise team lead to own Fresh, drive in-store visual merchandising, and ensure quality across displays. You will uphold policies, train staff, and collaborate on campaigns, with weekend shifts and flexible leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Champion Freshness & Quality: conduct walks/audits to ensure high standards for fresh products.
  • Drive Visual Merchandising Excellence: oversee planogram accuracy, cleanliness, stock loss, markdowns, and campaign alignment.
  • Promote Brand & Team Advocacy: empower team as food ambassadors for Own Brand products.
  • Optimize Operations & Resolve Issues: identify improvements, health checks, and ensure efficient performance.
  • Provide Leadership & Foster Collaboration: serve as Acting Store Manager on shifts and support team initiatives.
