Job summary

Woolworths Group in New Zealand seeks an Inventory Leader to drive accuracy across stocktakes and audits, optimise online fulfilment, and coordinate production planning for stores with onsite production. You will lead with a collaborative approach, ensuring data-driven decisions and strong team support to deliver accurate stock, pricing integrity, and timely outputs.

You’ll work on a dynamic NZ-based team, with weekend shifts and evening coverage requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead inventory accuracy through audits and stockroom/shop floor checks to ensure precise core inventory processes.
  • Optimise online order fulfilment and pricing; collaborate with Customer Experience to address discrepancies and ensure ticketing accuracy.
  • Manage production plans for stores with onsite production (e.g., Meat and Bakery) and finalize outputs.
  • Drive continuous improvement by addressing process issues and conducting regular health checks.
  • Support store leadership; step in as Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts and engage in team collaboration initiatives.

What you'll do | Hei mahi
  • Lead inventory accuracy through audits: Conduct regular shop floor walks and stockroom audits to ensure precise completion of core inventory processes and stocktakes.
  • Optimise online order fulfillment and pricing: Collaborate with the Customer Experience Leader to investigate discrepancies in online orders and implement preventative measures. You'll also oversee ticketing accuracy to prevent pricing issues.
  • Manage production plans: For stores with onsite production (like Meat and Bakery), you'll review and finalise production plans to ensure accurate output.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Resolve process-related issues escalated by the SOS and conduct regular health checks to identify and address areas for functional improvement.
  • Contribute to store leadership and team collaboration: Step up as the Acting Store Manager on scheduled shifts and actively participate in "Better Together" connections to foster team communication.
